    Pokemon Ranch Special Pokémon:

These two Pokémon are only available once certain requirements are filled.

Phione - Once 250 Pokémon are present on the ranch, the ranch will expand and jump to a new level. When this level is obtained, Hayley will add a new Pokémon to the "Wanted" board, Leafeon. When Leafeon is brought to the ranch, she will offer to trade it for her Phione.

Mew - When 999 Pokémon are present, the ranch will expand and jump to level 25, the maximum level. Once this level is obtained, a new wanted Pokémon will be added. Hayley is now asking for any Pokémon Egg. When the egg is brought, she will offer to trade it for her Mew.

    JPN Only Event Trades:

Octillery - Between May 13 and 26, 2008, one of the hosts of Pokémon Sunday (Golgo) would visit the Player's ranch and offer this Octillery for trade for a Zigzagoon. The OT (Goruko) is a "female" variation of Golgo.

Flygon - Between July 1 and 14, 2008, one of the hosts of Pokémon Sunday (Baba) would visit the Player's ranch and offer this Flygon for trade for a Starly. This Flygon is nicknamed "Babaigon."

Meowth - Between December 9 and 22, 2008, a special guest on Pokémon Sunday (Yukina Kinoshita) would visit the Player's ranch and offer this Meowth for trade for a Bidoof. This Meowth was only available to players with the Platinum update to My Pokémon Ranch.

Slaking - Between January 6 and 19, 2009, one of the hosts of Pokémon Sunday (Akiyama) would visit the Player's ranch and offer this Slaking for trade for a Magikarp. This Slaking was only available to players with the Platinum update to My Pokémon Ranch. It is nicknamed "John."

Metagross - Between February 10 and 23, 2009, one of the hosts of Pokémon Sunday (Prof. Red) would visit the Player's ranch and offer this Metagross for trade for a Machop. This Metagross was only available to players with the Platinum update to My Pokémon Ranch. It is nicknamed "Homerun."

    Hayley's trades:

Whenever the player brings in one of the "Wanted Pokémon", Hayley will offer to trade one of her Pokémon for it, and the Pokémon received will be one of the following twenty and will know a TM, Egg move, or have something else that makes them unique. The Pokémon available for trade are limited to ones that Hayley has already brought to the ranch. She will occasionally bring a tradeable when the player chooses "No" for both answers when Hayley asks what kind of Pokémon she should bring to the ranch the next day.

All of these Pokémon will have the OT Hayley (English) or ユカリ (Japanese) and the Trainer ID number 01000. Note that all of the Pokémon with specific Natures cannot have a different Nature, gender, and Ability and they cannot be Shiny.

I've never got around to playing this (not even on Dolphin), so I find this pretty cool!

It's a downloadable WiiWare game for the Wii.

I got a US version of the game on a modded Wii. Can the JPN distributions be possible?

Install the JPN version of the game on your modded Wii and you should be able to play it fine.

Once I do, do I need to set a date of the distribution of those Pokémon? And what is the Platinum update?

I got the Japanese version of the game (it's a WAD). When I tried to install it on my US modded Wii, it gave me an error.

If you can't install the wad you should try a different installer (imho the best is Some-YAWMM-Mod, but you can also use Wii Mod Lite).

If you have correctly installed the title yet (so it is shown in system menu) but when you open you see a message like "this channel can't be used" you should try opening with WiiFlow.

Will this brick my Wii? I heard about WADs from different regions can cause corruption?

I have installed some japanese WADs both on my Wii and vWii (PAL), they works with WiiFlow without problems.

But I still recommend to perform a NAND backup, just in case (if you have BootMii in boot2 you will be able to restore your Wii whatever happens)

I see. I have BootMii but don't know where on the SD card it should be located. What is WiiFlow?

I apologize for the constant bothersome questions from various posts on here. I'm really new to all the cool GameCube and Wii content. I just found out about them and would like to try them out.

BootMii is a homebrew software that can be installed as IOS in every Wii, but in early models (built before 2008) it can be installed in boot2, so it can be started during boot before everything else. This can guarantee the best brick protection, because if you brick and you can't even start the system menu you can use BootMii to restore a working backup.

WiiFlow is a software that works both as "system menu replacement" and as a way to play external contents from a USB drive and also play incompatible apps like region-locked ones. In order to make WiiFlow (or other USB loaders) works you need to instal cIOS if you didn't do it yet.

    (No problem(L))
