Info on the Xbox One '10.0.17134.3036 (rs4_release_xbox_dev_1805.180510-1632) May 2018 Update

    Release date

    05/17/2018

    Even more video output options

Gamers with TVs and monitors that support 120Hz refresh rates can now turn on 120Hz support for 1080p and 1440p output resolutions on Xbox One S and Xbox One X.

High refresh rates can often provide smoother gaming and lower latency, as well as reduced tearing and stuttering in some games.

    Game capture trimming improvements

Now you can start trimming your game clips and screenshots from your recent captures in the guide. No more switching to Upload Studio to make cuts to your clips.

    Updated button behavior

We’ve made a few changes to controller button commands. For example, now you can press the View button when you’re on Home to reorder your game and friend blocks. And pressing that same View button when you’ve selected Home on the main tab of the guide takes you to your recent captures.

    Better experience for families

It’s way easier now for parents to find and manage their family settings on Xbox One. On the new Family settings screen under Settings > Account, we show exactly which family and content access settings are set up, important ones that aren’t, and any that require attention.
