Further details and developments should be coming really soon. While the end goal is still far from reality, there has been some progress.

Hi, i dowloaded the rom, but i'm having some issues when reading the no date file on my ez flash omega cartridge, it displays japanese text instead of the "waiting". I tried checking and unchecking the RTC box on the omega options, but with no success. Any advice ?

    Hey Blaker!
Tested it out on my EZ Flash IV, same result as you. Got it fixed by patching the no-date rom by the EZ patcher. This allows some ROMS to work properly with the Flashcard

    https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-ezgba-v0-1-0a-an-ez4-compatible-rom-patcher.395464/

This should in theory also work for the omega. Keep the settings as in the picture I provided and patch over it. this wont change the pokemon or the stats at all.
    Hope I could help!

Thank you RJRacoon, the rom is fixed, but now i get this message : "Please make sure you have a U.S. version of a GBA POKéMON Game Pak Inserted." on the reiceiving game (I'm using french cartridges by the way).

For a distribution that took place in the Netherlands, i find it a little weird especially since i tried out of curiosity the USA aurora ticket rom, and managed to get in on my french firered.

Thats very intresting, I need to try out if I can recieve aurora on my german cartridge as well. Pokemon games in the netherlands are sold as the regular english versions.
Usually if the distribution device is english, it only distributes to english cartridges. There are always exceptions of course, like the EON distribution where you could choose your language before, or (US/EUR) gen 4/5 cartridges with other language wondercarts stored in it.

10ANNIV, for example, if you have the english ROM, straight out refuses to send the pokemon unless you insert an english copy of a gen 3 game, and gives out the same error as you recieved.

Oh, didn't know that they had the english version of the gen3 games in the netherlands. I thought for sure thay had a dutch or german version.

Oh well, all is not lost, there are some DOEL deoxys in the FireRed event save file, i'll just get them from it.

Just finished getting my hardware configured for flashing my devcart and ran into something strange using the DOEL rom. I am getting the black screen with the poke ball in the top left, but in the center of the screen there is one line of Japanese text. I would post a picture but for some reason it's not letting me. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm using the rom without the date requirement

I think you need to use gbata and sram patch the ROM potentially.

Can you be more specific as to what you mean by patching your dev cart? Do you mean an actual development cart that Nintendo had distributed or do you mean something else (link ezflash etc)?

@speeddeamon77 Gridelin is correct, that's how it got this working on both an official development cartridge and my old F2A flashcard.

Hello all, I need some help. I have the same problem as Blaker62 where the text is in Japanese instead of the American waiting text. I'm doing this on legit hardware and using an EZ Flash Omega cartridge. My problem is I have 0 idea what is being talked about and 0 idea of how to fix it. Can someone help me replace the Japanese version of the event and make it the American version?

I used my self EZ Flash Omega and it worked. What I can recommend is:
    • Use the "NO DATE" version
    • Choose 128FLASH as SAVE TYPE and then start with CLEAN BOOT

If it still doesn't work, maybe you have to update kernel and firmware of the flashcart, following this guide. Here you can download the last: Kernel 1.07 and Firmware 7.0
