    Pressing Y has nothing to do with it. Thats just another way of doing it... If you put it in /cache/ then it should be working.

    You can put them in /Cache/. Simple way of doing this is press Y on your game while using FSD. Then go to manage title updates and then press Y again.     Well, if you have a JTAG or RGH Xbox you can use NXE2GOD. Which will allow you to play them without the disc. There are methods to backup your games and make copies of them. However, I'm not totally sure I can help you with that.
