360 external drive

is it possible to use an external hard drive on the 360 slim for extra sapce without paying microsofts extorniate price

You can configure up to 16gb of the drive for use on the 360, but you couldn't use a full 500gb drive for example.

360 doesn't accept multiple partitions from one drive. It will find the first partition with 360 files in it. It even ignored my 32GB FAT32 primary partition and instead picked up my 100GB FAT32 secondary partition because it has the files for 360.
