Why would there be any news on 2.0.14385.0, it's nothing but an incomplete early alpha build for XDKS only There aren't any released dashboards above 13599 since it's the current version, the beta hasn't started either. It's common knowledge.

This isn't common knowledge. If I were to go about town and ask 100 people this question, I know the answer i'd get from all of them is "I have no idea what you're talking about." Do you know if he has an XDK or not? Seeing how XDKs are only 1000 dollars or so, they aren't all that expensive, meaning anyone could purchase one if they wanted to. So I suppose, he can stop being sarcastic and you can stop assuming and saying what you think is common knowledge.

You can buy "consumer waste devkits" from China, basically these devkits have been damaged on purpose, then should have been disposed of.
However a lot of people in China have repaired the damage done to them (broken ethernet / av port and so on) and sell them on pretty cheap.
This guy here: XBOX360 XDK is selling an 2008 XDK for 850 yuan, which is around 100 euros. (use Google chrome to translate the page, it does it pretty well.)
Search on taobao.com for "xdk" and you will find loads of people selling devkits, from broken kits with missing parts to fully working kits.
You would probably need to buy though a third party such as Taobao FOCUS: Buy from China Taobao.com in English, Taobao agent to get it out of china though.
