can i connect xbox to pc without using router

hello
i need to method to connect my console (xboxjtag) to pc
with transfer cable (network cable ) only
i dont know my console ip
and i use fsd 2 in it

Is this to share the internet or just access the Xbox?

If you just want to access the Xbox assign your PC's network card a static ip like i have done below

Then go in to network settings on the Xbox and give it a static ip in the same subnet as you gave the pc

So if you gave your PC 192.168.1.2 give the Xbox 192.168.1.3 and they will both be on the same network
