Crackdown 2 Demo Download

HI, I burn the item to a dvd fine but when I put it into my XBOX 360 get a message saying the disc has mixed media. Am I supposed to try to copy it to my hard drive?

Go to your Games Library. Its where all the arcade games and demos are at.

I downloaded a torrent so my dvd looks like:
4D5388BF\00080000\165E1EE 54F501A47CCE8156C0B46042BCB0F81Ad4D

does that make a difference?

Also on the front page I see a file marked:
Crackdown 2 DEMO XBOX360 Digiex.nzb

what is that?

It should look like:

Content\0000000000000000\4D5388BF\00080000\165E1EE54F501A47CCE8156C0B46042BCB0F81AD4D (the text in red is the game container not a folder)

The Content\0000000000000000\ folders are not included with the download as people in the past have just copied the Content folder to the hard drive / usb memory stick and erased everything else on the drive.

USB Memory Stick / Hard Drive:

If you are dumping the game to a USB Memory stick or Xbox Hard Drive you want to navigate in to the Content\0000000000000000\ then dump the 4D5388BF\00080000\165E1EE54F501A47CCE8156C0B46042BCB0F81AD4D with the folders and file inside the 16x 0 folder.

DVD:

If burning a DVD the Content folder needs to be the only folder on the DVD with the 0000000000000000\4D5388BF\00080000\165E1EE54F501A47CCE8156C0B46042BCB0F81AD4D inside that folder

So the end result would be: Content\0000000000000000\4D5388BF\00080000\165E1EE54F501A47CCE8156C0B46042BCB0F81AD4D

In Nero this would look like:

You can name the disc anything you like, in the screenshot above i called it Crackdown 2.

Thanks a ton. I've downloaded and tried it. I like it, but I expected more about this game. I did not know that the zombies have Crackdown 2, and also might have to be unlocked as a player or images on a theme.

Ok I keep getting this error over and over I've tried so many things but I'm just lost , it keeps saying 'System.outofmemoryexception' was thrown when I try and add the actual demo file

Your doing it wrong
1.Make a folder called "Content" without "
2.make another folder inside the content folder called "0000000000000000"
3.dl the demo
4.drag the demo folder into "0000000000000000"
5. Burn it to a DVD+R with IMGBURN

Then when loaded in xbox go to game library and play the game

configuration with xbox
then open up Modio
open ur usb in modio
drag the Demo folder to Content\00000000000000000\
and open it up on ur xbox

Thanks for the fast replies btw I appreciate it and anyways Thats what I did, I configured it with my xbox created the content and the other folder, put the other folder inside content then when I go and drag the files and folders from the .rar file the two folders are put in but then when its injecting the actual crackdown 2 demo file I get this error....

"There was error when injecting "C:\Documents and Settings\Brendan\Desktop\4D5388BF\00080000\165EE54F501A47CCE8156C0B46042BCB0F81AD4d" into your device, Reason - Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.

probably ur usb doesnt have enough gb

It's an 8gb though and I wiped it before configuring

How much did u configure it for? Also I tried everything with the usb drive and it still said disc was unreadable. Instead I just put it on a disc to see if it would work and bam it worked with no problem. I guess from now on I'll have to put them on a disc.

You will most likely get a disc read error if your USB flash drive isn't fast enough to run the game, so you'll either have to burn it to a disc or inject it into the HDD.

It loads way quicker from the HDD then the disc, which is why Microsoft allowed hard drive installs for faster loading and less wear on the disc drive.
