Hello DIGIEX fellows:

I am a user of Nintendo DS lite. And I am currently using The so-called DSTTi card. Life seemed to be easy, downloading old roms, which is rampant on many sites, and just drooping those into the memory card was more than enough to have every thing functioning on the most efficient manner. However, the same smooth functionality does not seem to be so when it comes to latest game titles and newer roms seems to have a problem. Only new roms now are loading with white screens at the early beginning and it just stops.

I have been through a lot of forums and sub-forums. Downloading Kernels, emulators and patched games does not seems to add anything.

Please, I appreciate any help

Additional information:
I am using TTDS card v 1.4 (this number is written on the card)
All what I have used to do in the past was to extract this zip file

Nintendo DS TT software.rar

Which does come with a file called "__ak2"

Thanks again for any comment, help or suggestion.

Try this, put in in the root of the Memory card. Then try to boot newer games, should work just fine. If it doesn't work you may want to try the akmenu4.nds from your downloaded file with the _aio from this file.

Thank you for the quick reply.

It actually started with the blind and blank menu. I would not care much for the decoration thing. Unfortunately, still the same thing only old roms are functioning. Adding the so called _aio file, however, to the already existing _ Ak2 is still not yielding the desired outcome. I have also tried to leave the aio one alone with the akmenu4, still does not seems to be working

Please I need your support guys

Put the 2.5 file where your existing _ak2 folder is, so back up save files and roms and then delete that folder and replace it with the folder in the 2.5 download and replace the menu folder that comes with it too. Then download the 1.41 update and put it somewhere on the DS where it will be easy to find from your menu. Then boot up your DS and then click on the 1.41 update. After that reboot the DS (if it doesn't after the update) and then boot a newer rom to see if that works.

Hello Digiex great members:

Hoping that I am not violating any of the forum rules here. I am not intending to bump this thread or so. But some recent games, e.g. Kung fu panda 2, Kirby mass attack and many others, started to witness the same old problems. So please Dark Scyth, are there any new updates that I can add to the card ?

Thanks for any one who is willing to help.

I haven't been in the DS scene since last year since at the time my girlfriend owned a DS. So I can't help you with the issue but if the range of games don't work on your DS google around a bit, i'm sure you'll find something.

have a google for gbatemp thats best site and also have cfw for r4s ect as stock r4 cards ect dont get updated anymore

So I have to look for a newer kernel update and then do the trial and error ?

Yeah, that's the way it looks to be. There is a 1.17 update, which seems to be the newest, which in the description it says it fixes games, so that'll be more than likely what you need.
