Got Xbox disc images (XISO) to shrink, unpack or build? extract-xiso is the command-line tool for it. It extracts an image, creates one from a folder, and rewrites one to strip out the padding so the file ends up smaller.

This is the XboxDev project's Windows build of 11 September 2026. Use the x64 folder on 64-bit Windows and x86 on 32-bit.
Tip: rewriting changes the image itself, so try -r on a copy of the ISO and check the result before you get rid of the original. Put quotation marks around any path with spaces in it.
For the Xbox 360 side there's Exiso. Official source: https://github.com/XboxDev/extract-xiso

- Open a command prompt in the folder for your Windows.
- Run extract-xiso -x game.iso to extract, -c with a folder name to build an ISO from it, or -r game.iso to rewrite one. extract-xiso -h lists the rest.
