FFplay is the plain, no-frills player that comes with FFmpeg, so if FFmpeg can decode it, FFplay can play it, whether it's a file or a network stream. ps5-payload-dev has built it for the PS5.
Download:

Installing is the usual routine: put the FFplay folder in /data/homebrew/FFplay on the console, then launch it from websrv's homebrew page (http://PS5_IP:8080/index.html) or the Launcher app, using your console's IP address in place of PS5_IP.
Where people get stuck is expecting a menu. There's no file browser here, because this is FFplay. The script to read is host_tools/ps5-ffplay in the folder, which shows how to start it from a PC and point it at a file or stream.
The prerequisites are the same two as ever: ps5-payload-elfldr and ps5-payload-websrv, with websrv's source at github.com/ps5-payload-dev/websrv.
