final fantasy 13 problem

i need you help guys., i have ff 13., but when i inserted it on my xbox., its not running, i saw the picture of ff13 on the dashboard., but when i open it., the xbox said ., dvd region not suported., can any1 know how to figure this out., is ther any update or software that i can use to play this game., uuhhhhmmm., i dont like the jtag option., *-)

is there any???

my dvd drive is philips lite-on
my firmware is 1.61 ixtreme smething like that.,

What region is your console and what region is the game?

Without a Jtag there is nothing you can do to bypass the region protection on games.

I'm guessing your console is NTSC-J then?

If so theres a lot of exclusives you can play that have not been outside Japan.

Maybe the NTSC-J version has FF has English text and audio? some games such as Bayonetta do.

There actually will be an NTSC-J version for the X360. December 16, 2010 is the release date.
Their first plans were not to make an X360 release for japan, but now there will be one. They announced it around TGS 2010 this september.

It will even have an "easy" mode...although the game is pretty easy as it is (auto battle option )

It's that so called "international version"

The Japanese release will be under the name Final Fantasy XIII Ultimate Hits International. "Ultimate Hits" is Square Enix's Japanese budget lineup. We're not sure just yet if this means the game will get gaudy budget packaging, but the price is being kept in check at 4,980 yen, or about half what the PlayStation 3 version originally cost at its release last year.

As for the "International" part of the name, this is being included because Square Enix is using English voices in the game. Japanese Xbox 360 owners will have to play the game with an English voice track. Subtitles can be selected between Japanese, English and various European languages.

so i has a japanese sub., what about the battle menus and item., T__T

It will have japanese subtitles so it will most certainly have japanese menus and the whole user interface also. But it will have only english voice acting.

The current X360 version does have localized menus and items for all the lanugages the game has subtitles for (english, german, french, italian, spanish).
So judging by that and the fact that the japanese version is made for japanese gamers I'm pretty sure it will have japanese menus also and not only english, german etc.

The game uses the subtitle/menu language you set in your X360 dashboard.
