Can someone help me flash my dvd drives. 2 are BenQ made in 2007/2008. The other is a H.L made in 2006. Iv just found these and will they work on my xbox slim.

Need help. Im running windows 7 its picking up my drive but its not show on jungleflasher. How to I get it to come up.

Does the drive have stock firmware on it, or has it been flashed in the past?

Presuming its stock you wanty to be looking at page 38 / 39 in the jungle flasher tutorial.

 • In Jungle flasher click the MTKFlash32 tab,
 • Then, select correct I/O Port by verifying PBDS VAD6038 or SATA DVD-ROM shows in the Drive Properties and click BenQ UnLock.

Its never been flashed before its a old drive out of a arcade xbox. Last time it was used was on the green dashboard NXE. I plug it up to my slim and it don't update to the latest firmware so it wont read new xbox games. But ill try flashing it see if that works. FFS not happy just dropped the xbox now the faceplate has snapped off. Anyone know where to get a new faceplate with the magnet strip.

Is this tut right I followed it all the way even putting my pc in test mode and I keep getting play dvd on my xbox drive on any games and iso.

You need to get the DVD key from the slims existing drive first, you cant spoof an older drive to work in your slim without first extracting the DVD Key from the slims existing drive.

Thats why you are getting the play DVD error.

Also the tutorial video you linked to is for an old Hitachi, you said you were trying to do a BenQ drive. It varies what needs to be done from drive to drive.
