Forgot dell laptop password , how to recover ?

I don't know what to do now, I can't access my laptop, my password is correct, but still can't log into my account, no wonder I forgot my password , anyhow, I have to get my password back. I need to work on my laptop ,

I want to create a new password on my laptop, but do i need to remove the old password , i don't remember the old password ,

Yes you need some way of getting in to the laptop to set a new password, if you don't know it then you need to resort to a tool capable of removing that password, allowing you to then set a new one.

Hi Panserch , recoverring the forgotten login passowrd is too complicated , as InsaneNutter said , you can bypass your login password to got into your Dell laptop , then you can set a new passowrd on Dell laptop , the end , you can use the new password to login

Thank you for your help, with the help of my sister yesterday, i have successfully reseted dell laptop password , if you have the same problem as I do,
