Halo Xbox Demo Download

Here is a Demo of Halo Combat Evolved for the original Xbox, the demo was included on OXM USA (Official Xbox Magazine) Demo Disc's 7 and 11.

The demo allows you to play the The Silent Cartographer level from the full game, I have not played Halo enough to know if it differs from the full game in any way, however it appears identical to me.

You do however get a video upon completing the demo telling you what you can expect when you buy the full game. I have ripped this video and uploaded it to YouTube, you can see it below.

I'm sure this is something Halo fans might appreciate.

You will need a modified original Xbox to play, just simply un-rar with WinRAR and FTP the demo to your Xbox's hard drive. You could also burn it to a disc and launch with your favorite file manager. I presume if you have a modded Xbox you have some basic knowledge on how to use it, Enjoy.

Do you have the map packs for halo 2 on xbox 360 by chance?

I do have them all on my Xbox 360, I downloaded them before Live for the original Xbox was switched off. They will not work on any other console though, also if you put your hard drive in another Xbox 360 it will corrupt the maps for some reason.

You can download all the Halo 2 maps from the Xbox Offline Xbox Live Downloadable Content [DLC] Installers thread, they will only work on a modded original Xbox however.

All but two of the maps can be purchased on disc, have a look at the Halo 2 Multiplayer Maps (Expansion Pack). This disc is however missing the Blastacular Map Pack as it was released way later in 2007.

If the console is Jtag or RGH hacked with the Hacked Xbox 1 Backwards Compatibility it will.
