HDDHackr is a DOS tool that writes the Xbox 360 security sector onto a standard SATA hard drive, so a normal laptop or desktop drive works in a Jtag / RGH console without buying an official Xbox 360 drive. It has been the usual route for fitting bigger drives.
Download:
Download HDDHackr 1.40
This is build 20130303 of HDDHackr 1.40, with its ReadMe and the author's recovery (undo) files, repacked from the copy attached to Digiex's own hard-drive tutorial, because the author's original site is gone.
How to install / use:
Not included: HDDSS.bin, which you create for your own drive.
Also on Digiex: Hddhackr Undo Files Downloads & Uploads.

How to install / use:
- Read ReadMe.txt first; the tool runs from DOS, so boot a DOS USB stick or CD to run HDDHACKR.EXE.
- Run it against the drive you want to use. Use the recovery files to undo changes on a supported drive.
