HDDHackr Check DRQ - Error?

I am running HDDHackr v1.25 on my laptop. I have only the harddrive I want to flash connected to it and booting from a usb with hddhackr and the bin file on it.

I boot from usb with legacy usb enabled under bios

i type in hddhackr and I get this everytime

The drive I am using is a laptop sata 7 pin

Help please

look in the bios there might be a ahci option or sata...change that and it should work if not then you need to use a different computer

There was no option relating to ahci or sata on my bios... I attempted to use my friends laptop and it was successful. New 120g harddrive
The problem was my laptop, oh well

it was the same thing for my laptop,it didn't work but in the desktop computer it worked no problem.

I am having an issue with v1.30; I am able to get to the point where hddhackr needs to flash the firmware. Sectors 16-22 are rewritten successfully, but after that a red message reading "Can't save drive firmware for later restore! DRQ Error: 0x0816" always appears. Any help would be appreciated...I picked up a 4GB xbox slim w/kinect from newegg for $100 off via gift card, and I used the credit to purchase a WD Scorpio Blue BEVT drive.

i am having same as mdubb1387 but i don't get DRQ but i do get this Can't save drive firmware hddhackr 1.40 hitachi 320 hd

You cant use Hddhackr on Hitachi drives which is what i presume you are trying to do?
