help with kinetic update

hi m use n da old white xbox 360 whn i plug in my kinectic da green light blinks long then it asks me 2 update i did dwload da update 2 my memorystick but my console update then halfway threw da console power button turns red n a E 71 error pops up plzzzzz help email me da update file sombody plzzz

Try this:

1. With the console off, press and hold the sync button on the console (the one you use to sync the controllers)
2. While holding the sync button press the power button to turn on the console
3. Continue to hold the sync button until the Console has booted up completely
4. During the boot process the console should clear any failed updates
5. At that point when it connects to Live it should do the update again, which shouldn't fail this time.
