I have a 500GB original Xbox 360 E HDD. I also have a 250 GB that works fine also from an Xbox 360 E. I wanted to move all my data over to the 500GB from the 250GB but I didn't have the correct equipment at the time so I tried to clone the drive but now I know that would have never worked. Before I started I never knew about the 360 HDD Security Sector. After the clone not working I just reformatted the drive into FAT32 expecting it to work in the console but obviously it did not. I now have a few adapters and a large memory stick to properly move things over but the 500GB is no longer recognized by the console. I have now looked at all the HDDSS stuff with HDDhackr ECT but I gathered that I don't have to do that as the drive is an original Seagate Xbox 360 drive so it would already have the Security Sector, I also gathered that HDDHackr only works with WD drives. How would I get the original drive working with the console again?
