From the day the current version of Digiex launched we have been to help preserve and archive content, keeping it freely accessible to all. All content hosted by Digiex is accessible via a direct download link, with no captcha or wait times.
We have been preserving rare hard to find content almost 20 years now, with some of the earliest content posted in the Download Center.
At times you might want to share a file that is too large to attach to the forum (50mb limit), historically we had a public FTP where members could upload large files, then message a staff member for a link.
In the last decade or so this has hardly been used, so we have made the decision to retire this service when reviewing our security policies.
Digiex is still still more than happy to host large files however, I would encourage anyone to get in touch if you feel you have something that aligns with our ethos, that we are currently not hosting here on Digiex.
To share a large file with us moving forward I suggest initially uploading the files to https://gofile.io/ then either messaging InsaneNutter or Nimrod, so we can mirror the file on Digiex and edit the link in to the thread you have already posted up.
Keep in mind files on public cloud servers do not last, however files on the Digiex server will be kept online indefinitely. So do message us so we can mirror the file once it is posted up.
