If by "flashed" you mean a flashed dvd drive, then yes. If you mean jtag flashed, then no. Never perform system updates on a jtag.
 
what is the difference between jtag falsh and dvd flash????

i dont know about these
all i kno is that my xbox can play burnt games
 
a dvd flash will allow you to play burned games a jtag will allow you to do a lot more like use any size hard drive and play everything from the hard drive and never need a game disc from the sounds of it you just have a flashed drive and i would flash the drive back to the stock firmware and then update and reflash the drive again after with a flashed drive updating you take the risk of have the xbox banned from online
 
i want to install game to my xbox 360 har drive so it would take less load time
whenever m trying to install game after 11% it says disc is scratched(not actually scratched)

tell me how to fix that
 
It could be a problem with the firmware on the dvd drive do you know if the drive has LT+ on it because it sounds like its failing the ap2.5 check and if so your console can already be flagged for a ban

Well LT+ allows the 360 to pass the AP.2.5 checks so that it reads it as a bought game and not a burned game (simplest way i can explain it) with out it your system can read the disc as a copy (with older firmware) and cause it to fail reading the AP2.5 it was added in the kinect dashboard to stop (at least slow down) people copying games just do a search for Xbox 360 LT+ in google I bet thats the problem. LT+ is the newest version of firmware for your DVD drive you will need to know what model of DVD drive is in the 360 to get the version for it, are you the one that flashed the DVD drive? if not I would talk to the person that did it to see what version they used
