While version 1.23 and 1.24 are the final versions of the game, a Polish company called LK Avalon picked up the game for local distribution and made some of their own additions. Though not a numbered release, it is a distinct version, different from all the other releases.
There is no separate Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and The Secret Files release from LK Avalon, instead they released the full game with the expansion in one package, meaning when you installed the game, you would get all the episodes from the original game as well as the expansion episode, The Secret Files. You would also get Holiday Hare 98 in your episode selection menu, though these levels are not included, and launching the episode would result in an error.
This version adds Polish language to the game, as well as the LK Avalon logo to the intro. It also includes the startup banner from the The Secret Files shareware version that the original release does not have, which includes the The Secret Files logo. In addition, it adds a new tileset, Krype.j2t, which is a fan-made tileset that is not used in any level. While in the original The Secret Files release, the Chemical Warfare CTF level that was added in version 1.21 was added, it was not added as part of the shareware levels, which it was released for as well as sharect2.j2l. This release fixes that by adding the file.
A folder called "Patch" is included on the CD of this release. This folder contains a number of level files, as well as a batch file that will copy these files into the default installation folder for this release. This patch is exclusive to the LK Avalon release of The Secret Files and mostly includes changes to the fan-made levels added to the The Secret Files release. Since some of the levels had their next level pointed to a level that was not available, completing the level would result in an error. To fix this, the patch edits the next level to loop back to the same level, or adds a new level with the name of the level that was expected as the next level, but as an exact copy of the one added in The Secret Files. In this way, all levels would always loop back to themselves. It also adds a fix for the missing Holiday Hare 98 episode, introduced by themselves, by adding xmas1.j2l, which is actually a copy of A White Christmas, a fan-made battle level which was included in the original The Secret Files release. Starting the Holiday Hare 98 episode would then start this battle level instead.
Because of the changes made, this version of the game is incompatible with the fan-made Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Plus mod. This mod includes Polish as a language option, meaning the LK Avalon version has no advantages over regular 1.24 modded with Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Plus.
If you get the GOG release of Jazz Jackrabbit 2, you will be getting this LK Avalon version of the game, with the patch installed, though with the Holiday Hare 98 episode removed. Because Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Plus is incompatible with this version, a separate download is provided with a copy of regular 1.24, with Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Plus pre-installed. It is also provided separately as a mod.
While the LK Avalon release is a localized release that many people may not know about, it does seem to be the final "official" update the game received. Though no change in version number like all the other releases got, the game did get some additions and fixes, even if by a manual patch, and they at least seemed to have intended to make it the most complete version of the game, with all the episodes together in one place and even attempting to include Holiday Hare 98 at some point.
High quality scans are unfortunately not available for this version at this point, though pictures of the artwork do exist:

The full game is not made available, because it can be patched to the latest version. Get the full final game by purchasing Jazz Jackrabbit 2 from GoG - you will be supporting game preservation done correctly.
