[Trisha Takanawa]

XNA Game Studio is Microsoft's framework for building games on Windows and Xbox 360 in C#. The 4.0 Refresh updated it for newer versions of Visual Studio. This download holds the game studio installer and the XNA Framework redistributable that games built on XNA need to run.

Download XNA Game Studio 4.0 Refresh

This download holds XNAGS40_setup.exe and xnafx40_redist.msi, unchanged from Microsoft's download server.

How to install / use:

1. Run xnafx40_redist.msi if a game asks for the XNA Framework 4.0 runtime.
2. Run XNAGS40_setup.exe if you want to develop with it (it needs a supported Visual Studio).
