Modding ?

Hi there i have tried using guides to this modding stuff nothing is working so here is my question , Can anyone advise me on the best modding software and techniques used to do this as everything is very confusing and frustrating , Basicly all i want to do is to put addons into games and maybe use the odd option file , So if anyone can point me in the right direction i will be very gratefull.

Awrite a see now mate , Well i have been trying to use Xtaf and Modio but no joy still

if you have a xbox 360 HDD it is easier to hook it up and use xplorer (which ever one -20,60,120gb) to edit saves.etc... i would get a transfer kit, but if short of money you can open it up and connect it via sata into your computer and directly mod files

I have ordered a Transfer Calble off Ebay mate so be trying it soon as a get one only £4.39 in my mind that's a bargain , but soon as i get it i will post back and let you know how im getting on , thanks for your help mate much appreciated

I got a HDD transfer cable mate , I opened up Xplorer and tried to open the HDD and it said , "Could Not Open FATX", What does it mean ? , Also if you could give me a guide on how to exactly use a HDD transfer cable from the Xbox HDD to my Laptop , What programs ? , Any drivers i need to install ? , Just anything because it's really busting my head now and i want to do it lol , Any help much appreciated mate

Make sure you run the program as admin You don't need any drivers, just plug one end in the USB and the other in the HDD.

I have done that still does the same thing , Im not sure what's going wrong and also is the drive supposed to show up in "My Computer" on mine it doesn't and i need an idiot guide mate lol , it seems to get more and more complicated

How big is your drive>? GB wise?

60 gig ? , I think it's ok for a xbox , I know stuff about computers just not this xbox modding stuff
