New dash ap25 check.

Hi guys. Question I have

I have dashboard kinect beta version 12416(thats first kinect beta I think) and Jasper Elite 120gb (that came with batman and pure)

I think I have 1.61LT (flashed in march this year)

So after all this talk about 2,5AP check I decided to give FableIII a try. Abgx->imgburn just like every other game. And backup works just like charm! No problems. Everything is booting normal.


So Can I update to official 1st nov dash or Should I stay with this 416 beta becouse maybe there was no ap25 yet then?

btw. I am updating everything offline from usb stick I am always offline.

First Kinect dash betas didn't have the new security check, so do NOT update if you still want to play new games.

More train question coming! What is the latest version that didnt had ap25 check? So I will update to latest I can. 581 safe?
Are there any changes between 416 and other later betas that didnt had ap25? (Any changes in how fast games work?)

Am I loosing something being grounded with 416?

Becouse as far as I understand. If I will update to official update and run fable3 which will fail and flag my console(which I dont care becouse I dont never go online(I am sp type of person)) then I will have to wait for other fw to be able to run it again?

I think what he meant to say was that you will need to update to 12611 for future games.

Stick with the version you have for now, you gain nothing by updating to a slightly newer beta, you will have to update to the latest Kinect dash eventually though... although by then I guess a new firmware will be out.

Yes eventually, could happen next month, could happen next year but at some point you will have to update.

hmmm I readed a bit just to find what is latest non ap25 beta and found that its safe to install 12581 becouse ap25 started with 606

tried fable III. It didnt wanted to boot. So I tried castlevania and no problem. Then again fable and it works allright. :lol:

xVAL2.0 SAYS i FAILEd ap25 challenge. So how is that I failed, (I am flagged?) and fableIII works after a couple of tries?

And how is that sp25 test is in 12581? I thought it appers in 606...




Anyway. My question is can I update to OFFICIAL 1st nov dash now that I failed and fableIII works? Or will it stop working becouse they implemented 25ap further somehow?
