Newbie to XBOX 360

HELLO.. Can you help me how to identified the type of my xbox 360 console. For your information, i live in Malaysia. When i bought it on the local store, my xbox can't connected to xbox live to enable pirated game can play. How to enable it so I can download a new system update?

Power the console on with the eject button, if you see Xell on the screen you have a Jtag / RGH.
If the console plays burned games the DVD drive has been flashed.

If it doesn't do either you simply have a normal console.

Sounds like the console has a ban onit. Maybe someone was playing none stealth games and got caught out.
