OMG, GT 6 on PS3.... why????

Well, here goes: downloading updates (in my case, 21!!), installing them (took a few HOURS!), ready to run the game... AND MORE INSTALLING! (which takes ages to complete, in my case 8+ hours of boredom...)

After 9 hours: I gave up. Removed all the updates in sheer anger and dispair and with receipt in hand took it back to the shop.

Don't start playing Gran Turismo 6. What the hell were they thinking?!

I think all the stuff for GT 6 is actually free content that's been added over the years, sucks it took day to update however

Sadly this is becoming the norm with next gen games, loads of Xbox One games have huge 15gb+ day one patches. It's never been too much of an issue for me, however if i had slower internet i'd be really annoyed having to wait multiple hours to play a game i'd purchased. Not that it helps with PS3 titles, however next gen consoles do let you play as the game is installing / updating which is something.
