Fancy playing your PS2 games on a PC, sharper than the real console ever showed them? PCSX2 is the free, open-source PS2 emulator from the PCSX2 team, with upscaling, widescreen patches, save states, memory card handling and wide controller support. This is version 2.8.2, the Qt interface, for 64-bit Windows.
Download:
Download PCSX2 2.8.2
Extract the zip to a folder of its own and run pcsx2-qt.exe. The first-run wizard asks for your BIOS and for the folder your game images are in. Pick the BIOS, then use Add Search Directory to list your games.
You'll need a PS2 BIOS dumped from your own console, and your own games. The PC wants a fast CPU and a graphics card that handles DirectX 11, Vulkan or OpenGL.
Tip: put the BIOS dump in a folder of its own before you start the wizard, so it's easy to point at.
