this is the first time i have purchased a xbox and i dont have no information about xbox and modding. I purchased a Modded xbox 360 from ebay. the person who sold me this told me that the xbox is modded but he doesn't know which one. if its a jtag , RGH, Flashed or sum other. I m able to play pirated DVD's on it but when i try to play new games like batman arkham knight, it gives me an error of this disk is not supported, i also installed this game on my hard drive but then again its asking for disk. let me know if there is any special way to download games on your hard drive and play it. Also MFR is 2009-9-09 and dashboard version is - 2.0.15574.0 Let me know if your need any more info. Thanks in advanced.
Power the Xbox 360 on with the eject button, if you Xell on screen (something like the screenshot below) then you have a Jtag / RGH console: If the Xbox 360 loads to the dashboard as normal then you have a flashed console which will only play burned DVDs. You need to burn the newer XGD3 Xbox 360 games a special way, see this tutorial here: How to Burn Xbox 360 XGD3 ISO Games With The BurnerMAX Payload Tool
r u sure about this because i have seen so many videos on youtube who have modded xbox and this screen dosent show up on there screen as well.
You either have a Jtag / RGH or a flashed console, theirs only those two types of modified 360. From what you have said you have a flashed console.

The easiest way to find out has been mentioned by Hoffman above. Turn the Xbox 360 on with the eject button, if you see Xell on screen then you have a Jtag / RGH Xbox 360, if not then you simply have a flashed console.
yeah i did that and also tried to install exemenu on my xbox but it was shown as corrupted. i think so i have a flashed xbox
so now to play new games on it i need to update its dashboard. so the thing is how can i update my dashboard without losing its mod.
