Recently bought a 360 game at a yard sale (used obviously) never looked at the condition of the disc before buying suddenly I tried playing it in my Xbox and it said "unrecognizable disc" I've tried a a scratch repair formula called Novus that I purchased on Amazon, that seemed to give the disc a little bit of shine but the console still won't read the disc. Is there another method I could try? or would it be better to just look for a new copy?

Some game stores do also have professional machines that can give pretty good results.
