I grew up playing PS1 and PS2 but 12 years ago I switched to Xbox (360 and One) recently I began finding PS3 consoles at affordable prices along with some PS3 exclusive games, So I am curious if a PS3 would be a wise choice if I can get a deal on one.
Should I get a PS3?

I got a cheap PS3 at some point and installed CFW on it, my intention was to play some of the exclusives that were never on the 360 such as Wipeout HD and Uncharted.
I never really used the PS3 much in all honestly. I loved the PSP, however I was never really in to the other PlayStation consoles like I was the Xbox. Most of the exclusives never really appealed much to me.
On the flip side I own an Nintendo Switch for Pokemon and Mario Kart and that gets used all the time.
So with that in mind I think it really depends on you and what you wish to play, if you want to play some exclusives and you can for a good deal then now might be the time to buy.
If you have a good PC then PS3 emulation might be something to consider also: RPCS3
