I have a modded xbox 360 and the camera kinect is not working when I try to put it and use it I get that the xbox needs an update when I try to update with a usb it doesnt work(nothing happens) I dont know what to do can you help me please,

You need to use the same usb update for the dashboard version you have installed.

You can also try renaming $SystemUpdate to $$ystemUpdate on the FAT32 formatted usb drive.

Xbox 360 Dashboard / System Update 2.0.16537.0 will just restore the avatars if your on 16537, never use a newer version to do this, it must be the same version.

I have another question, if I format my modded xbox 360 and try to sign in to xbox live will it work?
