Xbox 360 Dashboard Update BETA 2.0.13141.0 Download

Information:

• Support for XGD3 Disc Format (Xbox 360 games can use an extra 1gig of space
• AP2.5 checks for all games activated
• Flashes DVD drive firmware upon updating the Xbox 360 dashboard with this update

Released:
April 6, 2011

How to install:
1.) Unrar the download
2.) Copy the $SystemUpdate folder to the root of a CD or USB Stick (The memory stick must be FAT or Fat32 formatted)
3.) Insert the CD or USB Stick into your Xbox 360 console.
4.) You will be automatically prompted to update with a USB stick, with a CD / DVD it should say Mixed Media Disc, power down the 360 and power it on again. You should be ask to update before the 360 boots to the dashboard.
5.) Once the update is complete your Xbox 360 will restart then boot up to the new dashboard. Enjoy!

Most likely it will block live access as the last beta did.

Any Modded 360 is a risk and with the new dashboard a little more because its a new Disc format and there are supposed to be extra security checks from what I under stand

Update: He is currently extracting the update. Last time I messaged him, he said he was at 40% complete. He is offline now since he has other stuff to do. He'll probrably have it tomorrow.

I suggest people with flashed drives don't do this.I think there was a disk drive check when i first started the update,the console turned off immediately a few times and turned on.This means it could of checked the drive then update.There will be a new firmware version for the disk drives,it may either ban people(more $$$ to MS) with flashed drives or update the firmware.

This will update your console to 13141, however i'm not sure if it will update the avatars or not. Please do let me know if it does or not, I will be interested to know.

Ill give it a shot here in a min on my spare console (a non flashed one) also with a new external HDD blank and new format so no info and a console that is still 9199 dashboard


Ok so updated no probs there NO Avatars and if you try to customize it pops up with a Update is needed to be downloaded from Microsoft (bla bla bla we all know what it said) this Xbox is Offline I don't even wont to hook it to Live yet

I didn't know if you posted before I edited my post so you know there are NO Avatars it comes up with a Updated is needed to use them

Do you think that a firmware with avatars from like the 611 or 625 dash would update avatars?

Ah thats a shame, ill look in to it some more. I believe XboxHacker hex edits them out the hard drive, which is why it takes so long to do so, but the end result is usually updates with working avatars.

Is it also provides the voice control by KINECTS?
If I understand you can not connect to Xbox Live until the final version of this update, but what is the release date of this update?

It will work on any Xbox 360.

The avatar data does not work, which means neither will the Kinect stuff (i dont think)

As for when its released there is no date yet, it will not be for a while.

Yes it will work this was a beta version used for testing (as of right now) just released like a day or 2 ago as of right now all the kinect stuff works but if you update you will have no Live access and no avatar tell the final version is released and there is no time frame it could be weeks (the beta just started) so if you like live and avatar do not update. Also if you have a modded console (dvd flashed to play burned games) don't update because there are supposed to be more security with it.
