can i update this one????
if i update this, can i play with copy game or not??
 
Nope if you update past 12625 you will not be able to play copied games without re flashing your console to LT+ 2.0 (I presume your not on that as your dash is so old?)
 
If you are not on LT+ 2.0 then yes, flash back to stock, update the dash, then flash to LT+ 2.0
 
Hi, can someone please help me.. I got my friend to flash my xbox today to LT2.0. I installed Skyrim and when I tried to play the game it asked to apply update to which I agreed. About 75% of the way through the update it froze and I got a system error 3080 3524 1600 2203 C000 0001.. I restarted xbox and no damaged seemed to have been caused, I checked the dash version and discovered I only had version 2.0.12416.0.. Can someone please confirm if I try to update to version 2.0.13604.0 will I have to get my xbox reflashed again? On a side note I don't seem to be able to apply the update but that might be caused due to a possible faulty hard disk but want to get through each problem one step at a time... I can always replace the hard drive if I can safely apply the update. Thanks.

PS.. forgot to add... my xbox is banned so I will be applying update via USB stick.... cheers
 
You need to flash your xbox back to stock,then do this update and 13604 also.After all of the updating,flash it to lt 2.0
 
Mine is 13604.0 and i want to play with a copy games.
but i don't have an idea how to do. anybody can help me.
asking for the guide also.

Hi, I'm new here.
Recently I have my xbox updated to 2.0.13604.0 by someone and we can play games with no problem. But our sign-in avatar is blank after the update. Can I re-do this update and our avatar will be back as normal? Please advise and thanks in advance.

Yes just put this update on your USB stick as instructed in the first post and your avatars will restore.
 
I just tried to update my unit from 2.0.12625 to 2.0.12604 using a flash drive and it gave me a similar error code to the guy above. I went to microsoft's site to check it out and this is what it said: This error occurs if your console has been tampered with or modified. Your console can no longer connect to Xbox LIVE, install software updates, or play new games that require a console software update. Can I still have the origonal firmware put back on this unit and then update the dashboard or am I screwed here? I have a lite-on/benq drive that has LT+1.1 on it.
 
So it is fixable & microsoft hasn't done something to it to permanently keep it from updating? Thanks rick.
 
Guys I know that many of you had already the same question, but still i want to reassure myself in this, cause flashing my box costed me a lot and please if you could answer once again: I have flashed my xbox on LT 2.0 and all the games skyrim, BF3 and others work fine. However, my kinect doesn't work requiring an update, therefore my little sister misses her games :))) the dashboard is 13604 currently. If i download and install this patch to make avatar and kinect available, will i then have to reflash my box again? and spend money again ? thanks in advance =)))
 
Nope you will not have to re flash, the avatars + kinect data will restore and that will be that.
 
updated my xbox to this up date flashed my hitachi 78fk drive using the lizard my problem is that my xbox will only play ap2.5 games and wont play the newer games any help would be great im going mental here
