To find your Xbox One console’s operating system version:

• Press the Xbox button to return to Home.
• Press the Menu button and select Settings (or select Settings on the Home screen).
• Select System.
• Select Console info.
• Your operating system version is the third row down.
• Note If you’re in the middle of a system update and need to find your operating system version on your console, pull both triggers and both bumpers on the controller. The operating system version is listed as Build and is the second line down.

Can you do make insider system update files available?
My hdd died and had to change it, but since the xbox checks the version when reinstalling the OS, now mine only will update with the same version I had before the hdd died, ant thats the april 4 skip ahead update. I'm searching the web for tw days now and can't find a mirror like yours for insider builds.
Since xbox thinks its a downgrade, it won't accept any sys update that doesn't match the equal or above version of any update (the OSUs MS make avaiable)
You would unbrik my xbox with that.

Unfortunately the insider builds are not released in a package which can be installed via a USB memory stick.

It seems the official Xbox insider support forums have moved to Reddit, so you could try asking there in the hope someone from Microsoft is able to supply the update to recover the Xbox.
