Digiex's UT 2004 Server

I fixed ServerExt and added Team Balance Mutator to, should be fairer teams now :)
 
its great to see the server so busy. one thing that does come up alot though is the lag - would it be possible to upgrade it to a less laggy one like the one you were using a year or two ago?
 
Dear Admins and Moderators. I am a regular player of digiex server and have been around for a few months. The server is great but from time to time when more then 10 people are playing it seems to jam and big laggs occure. Since i have been playing for a few months i know every map that there is on digiex server. Personally i think that more maps should be added. Also maps like APA should get more vehicles... because it might as well be ictf with so little. I dont consider it a vehicle map. I dont know how you admins work or what the future plans are for the server but as a regular gamer on the server i would like to be involved. Also there are a few maps that are hardly ever played, Red planet, amytherst. they seem a little pointless. Keep up with the good work. TY.

Red Planet is just too big to be played in Instagib mode. Instagib shouldn't be like: running for 2 minutes to enemy base, get hit by someone and start running again. It should be instant action with reachable bases - like apastarz or timberland.

And amethyst, well, i do not like this map. so i won't vote for it - never :)

please don't add more vehicles. Apastarz is good as it is. It's the most played map on digiex. I think it's because of the right amount of vehicles and the mentioned points above.


And in my opinion: MistyGlenn doesn't need a tank. There should be two more scorpions - just to get as fast as possible over the hill in the middle to enemys base.


I also think the ramp outside the base in Redrooms LD was a bad idea. Now some guys just take the [i forgot the name of that tank], drive on the platform between ground and flag and camp.. 8o|

Engineers will be conducting maintenance on Wednesday the 28th of April 2010 (28/04/2010) at or after 20:00 CET. This maintenance window will serve to migrate the public network of our host nodes onto our new routing and protection equipment.

They are many cheaters online. Just take a look at your very screenshot. Perhaps you will find another one? 8-)

Alas, it seems to be down again this morning. Is it just more maintenance, or does the server need to be reset again?

Whatever happened to the talk about moving to a better host?

I remember saying I'd contribute £ each month to it, because frankly the current host is extremely poor. As a 2 yr+ player on the server I've seen it go from 'pretty good' on the old server to 'poor' to 'very poor' to 'crap' on the current hardware. Surely between us all, we can do something about that and get it hosted on something more.. suitable.
