Playing New Game (AP 2.5) on hacked xbox360

just wanna ask
new game has been released
Fallout 3,
Assassin Creed: Brotherhood

but as you know, it cant play on hacked xbox (due to its AP. 2.5) is there anything that should be done to get rid AP 2.5?

I've just finished installing the new dashboard of my jtag, and then installing the new dashlaunch 2.06 and new game such as assasin creed brotherhood just played perfectly without having LT+, thanks insaneNutter

Moved here as your post is not a guide.

If your console has a Hitatchi or Samsung DVD drive then you can play a backup copy of it, those drives do not support the AP 2.5 checks. Any other DVD drive will only play an original copy of the game.

You can not swap your DVD drive out with a Hitatchi or Samsung, the console has to have come with either of them two drives for AP 2.5 protection not to be active.

Jtagged consoles on the 12611 dash can play AP2.5 games if Dashlaunch 2.05 is installed. I dont know about playing from a burned disc, however with Dashlaunch 2.05 the AP 2.5 checks are certainly ignored of the game is in a GoD container or files / folders loaded with XEX Menu / Freestyle dash / Quickboot and so on.

You can play NFS Hot Pursuit & AC:B with the old dashboard on a jtag . You only need to find a modded default.XEX . I still use the 9199 dashboard & played both games .

Hi all,

I'm looking for some help. I have an X-Box 360 Arcade with LineOn drive. It was flashed before I bought it in December 2009.

Today I downloaded the "Xbox 360 Kinect Dashboard Update 2.0.12611.0 With Avatars Download [Final Version][/URL]".

I now can't play AP2.5 games such as Need for Speed Hot Pursuit or Assassin Creed: Brotherhood. I know that Need for Speed was working before I updated it.

I've been reading up on dashlaunch but I don't understand what jtag means and I don't have a serial port so I'm panicing about updating to LT+. I've also read some info on updating the firmware but really don't understand how to do it. The JungleFlasher guide is pitched at above my level of understanding.

If you have a jtag Xbox 360 , then you don't need to update the DVD firmware .
If you have a normal flashed firmware 360 , then you need to update .

I've tried contacting the original owner but got no response, so how do I know if it's a jtag?

You will know it if you have XEX Menu in your games library .

My brother's xbox360 is flashed with the older firmware,is it safe to connect it to live and update to the new dashboard?He doesn't play any of the new ap 2.5 games.Will he get banned?

As long as he doesn't play a game with the AP 2.5 check he should be fine, that being said though it can be risky using an older firmware on the drive.
