Yes, you just need the fast recovery app if you didn't permanently flash the firmware.

I would love to see if this works but step 1 seems to have f*cked up my memory card and my PSP (PSP Street 1002). First, my memory card could not be formatted on my PC, then wouldn't work on my PSP, then stopped working on both. Now my PSP keeps freezing, and now it's frozen and won't turn off (actually turned off 5 mins later). Hopefully I can get this working because I REALLY want to download some software for my PSP. I can already tell this is going to be a huge struggle. Thanks for the guide =)

EDIT: This is pissing me off, first it says ProUpdate is corrupted data, and then it kept connecting and disconnecting over and over again, and now it says it doesn't recognize my computer. I'm so close to throwing my PSP across the room. What am I doing wrong?

I’d try a different memory card, what your describing is not normal behaviour for one. If you have a card reader, you could try the memory card in that to rule out a faulty usb cable / port.

I tried this out fine (I was able to play Final Fantasy Type-0) until I tried loading a different game (Patapon 3) because of limited space. Now my PSP cannot find the games (any game) I load into my memory card, even if I can see the games copied in my PC. Help? :(

Never mind. I found out what I did wrong. I copied the games into the PSP folder instead of the ISO folder. :P

I have a PSP 3003 update 6.61. Every time I try to run Fast Recovery, my screen goes black for 5 seconds and then my PSP shuts down. I'm new to all of this.

I presume you have run the PROUPDATE application at least once? and the 6.61 CFW and not the 6.00 version?

I have run PROUPDATE and I did install the correct version, I just booted up my PSP to double check. I can try running the PROUPDATE again and then trying the FASTRECOVERY again.

Hah, it was really silly. I didn't actually read the prompts when I ran PROUPDATE, I didn't actually know they were prompts, so I pressed R to Exit, rather than X to install....

Noober is my name and not paying attention is my game. :P

I'm having a similar issue as other people on here. I was on M33 custom firmware and all my iso's showed up and ran properly, but since i upgraded to 6.60 pro c-2 only 5 of my iso's show up under the game directory. These 5 run just fine. I've tried changing the iso engine, adding roms, removing roms, renaming roms. Yes, they are in the correct folder. They are there I just don't know why they're not all showing up. I have about 24 total iso's on my memory stick. Is there a workaround (potentially and iso loader) or maybe a direct fix. Thank you.

I actually figured it out. I deleted the whole ISO folder and re added all my iso's one by one. Thanks for the guide!
