If you're tired of launching custom firmware by hand every time you switch your PSP on, Infinity is the answer. DaveeFTW's tool makes custom firmware permanent, so the console boots straight into it. There's one package for the usual PSP models and a separate one for the PSP Go.
Download:
Download Infinity 2.0.3
Read the README for your model first. Then copy EBOOT.PBP from the standard folder (PSP 1000, 2000, 3000 and Street) or from the pspgo folder (PSP Go) to PSP/GAME/UPDATE on the memory stick, creating the UPDATE folder if it isn't there. Run it from the Game menu to install Infinity, and run it again afterwards to choose which custom firmware (PRO or ME) is switched on. Infinity only enables a custom firmware, so install that one first. For that, see PSP 6.61 Custom Firmware Install on any PSP.
Careful: Infinity only works on PSP firmware 6.60 or 6.61, and an old Infinity (before 2.0) has to be uninstalled with Chronoswitch 7 or higher first. A wrong step on a PSP can brick it, so don't skim the README.
