Hi Guys, I have XBLA games on a USB Drive, in folder USB/Content/0000000000000000/
I can get them to appear in Freestyle Dash & XM360, but whenever I try to launch them I get an error "The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again."

I can move them to HD1/Content/0000000000000000/ and get them to boot from the M$ Dash board. But rather than move them all, i'd like to boot them from USB.

I have FSD 2.2 and tried Dashlaunch 2.29, and downgrading to 2.27
I have tried changing contpatch = false in my launch.ini
I tried a fresh install of FSD, which scans and picks the XBLA games up everytime. (By fresh install, I deleted everything out of the HD1 Freestyle folder and remade it and launched new one etc from XEXMenu)
I have set the Scan depth higher for the USB in "manage paths" in FSD
They appear in XM360 (as unlocked) but wont boot
Normal 360 games boot no probs from the same USB location via FSD

I'm not sure what to try next?
:S

Thanks for looking.

No mate, I wont be configured to 360 as I have more than 16GB of XBLA in my
USB/Content/0000000000000000/

That will be why then, i would upgrade the internal drive and use that to store your XBLA game and DLC you might have.

Hmmn I've done more googling, seems others can get it to work??

How to play XBLA from external Hard drive:
Place all XBLA content (in their correct folders) into Usb:\\content\0000000000000000 then use freestyle dash it will detect the arcade games and place them in the arcade tab and they can be played from there.

Try it and see if it works, if it does then great (Y)

I was under the impression that did not work, however maybe things have changed with the latest Freestyle Dashboard.
