Edited a save on your PC and the console won't take it any more? CONSign re-signs the CON file (the container used for saved games and settings) so the Xbox accepts it again. It rehashes the file and signs it with your own console's CON key pair. It's not an exploit and it doesn't run unsigned code.
Download:
Download CONSign 1.0
You need .NET Framework 2.0, and a valid, decrypted keyvault from your own console (kv.bin). Getting that isn't covered here. Your keyvault is unique to your console, so keep it to yourself.
Open X360.exe (the window says Container Signer), click Load and pick the modified file, then click Sign. If kv.bin isn't in the same folder it asks where yours is. When it says "CON file successfully resigned" you're done. It also shows the Console ID and Profile ID of the file you loaded.
CON only. LIVE and PIRS packages, so DLC and demos, are not touched.
By derived (xss.ath.cx), who has put the full VB.NET source in the zip so it gets used for better things.
