Endgame is a softmod exploit for the original Xbox, from the XboxDev community. It uses a pair of specially built save games (a trigger and a helper) to run unsigned code, which gives you a way to install a dashboard without a modchip.

Download Endgame 1.0
Read the project's instructions, then copy the ENDGAME folder to your Xbox as the guide describes. Run the trigger save from the game it's built for to start the payload. You'll need a game that works with the exploit.
Tip: Endgame is the raw exploit, so it takes some care. The project is at https://github.com/XboxDev/endgame-exploit.
Update: for an easier install, look at the Xbox Softmodding Tool, which uses Endgame in its newer releases.
