DS cartridge ripping and rom Patching

As this is my first post,i'd thought i'd contribute to this site for helping me with my 360 dash update for playing COD MW.

Anyway this is for peeps who want to transfer ds lite roms wirelessly from cartridge to pc,so that u can add to your R4 or simular cartridge.

Everything u need is in the download and is all really easy to do.


Also for anyone who's getting a prob with some ds roms that say thet can't make or find a sav file,then they need patching,and heres all you need to patch your roms as well.
Again very easy quick and simple

So i can dump roms of my own games with the first application? any extra info is welcome. I have got a DS but i dont have a flash card yet.

Yeh with the first download u can put in a friends ds cartridge or your own,and rip via wifi to your pc.
Put the nds backup tool file on the root of your micro sd card then place it in your R4 or other mod cartridge,then turn on your ds and you,ll see it there.

next start smallftp prog on pc,put your ip address into the ini file with notepad and your UN and PW (always named test).

then start the backup tool on ds,and u will be offered a few options,choose dump cartridge and it will ask u to take out your R4 or whatever u use and replace with the cartridge u want to dump then press A to dump.

you,ll see the dump progress on smallftp on your pc.

inside the rar download is a MS word file with all the info and step by step pics to show you what to do.

The other download is so u can patch newer games that say they can't or won't make a sav file,very quick and easy to do.

Anyway hope you enjoy it,its always nice to know how to do these things.
