If you've ever wanted to see what's on an Xbox 360 or original Xbox hard drive, FATXplorer puts it straight into Windows. Eaton Works built it to mount the FATX file system those consoles use, so a console drive or USB stick shows up like any other drive. Copy files in and out, back up and restore, and format drives.
Download:
Download FATXplorer 2.5
This is the free 2.5 release, version 2.5.4.15047, with both the 64-bit and 32-bit builds.
A few features need a console keyvault file (KV.bin). None is included, so you supply your own where a feature asks for one.
If you want a second opinion on the same job, there's Party Buffalo Drive Explorer. The official site is https://fatxplorer.eaton-works.com/.
Tip: back up anything important before you write to a console drive, and be careful with format, because it erases the whole drive.

- Unzip it and open the x64 folder on 64-bit Windows, or the x86 folder on 32-bit.
- Run FATXplorer.exe as administrator, connect the drive and mount it from the device list.
