Guide to Jailbreak the PS3 with a iPhone 3G/2G running PSFreedom

What backup manager are you using. Also what is the external hard drive (model, brand, HDD size), it sounds like you're having spin down issues while trying to back up or play a game.

Hello everyone,

I have desperately tried to install PsFreedom on my Iphone but without success.
Here are the details:
Iphone 2G, OS 3.1.2
Jailbreak - yes, with Redsn0w 0.9.4
Installed latest Bootlace from Cydia
Installed latest OpeniBoot from Bootlace menu. I had no succes even when OpeniBoot was not installed.
Run iPhoDroid_R13m_2G as above but after the phone was switched to recovery mode I did not get the OpeniBoot menu to install Iphodroid.

P.S. I have tried also another way.
I have installed the latest OpeniBoot and Idroid from Bootlace menu and then using Filezilla I have tranfered the two files to specified address, changed the permissions.
The point is that I have found them in two places: private\var and private\var\iphodroid.
When I boot the phone to Android it stops at "radio: reading baseband nvram... done" line.

Please be so kind and give me some help!

Do you guys know when iphodroid will be available on iphone 3gs 4.1 or grader?

Hey and firstly thanks for the guide. I downloaded and applied the iPhoDroid_R13m_2G_PSFreedom_Patched_Hermes_V3_Payload

I have seen that hermes v4b is now out and supports 3.5 spoofing. How can I go about updating my iphone 2G to add this?
