Yup, another fine review of me and this time it's HALO for the XBOX Original! Oh boy, what was that a start for the XBOX! As a launchtitle it was a straight hit. Okay, no XBOX Live but hey, who cares? Get a buddy, plug another BOX into the tv and BOOM: Multiplayer... oh, good old days.
But let us start, shall we?
Yep, it's war again, and this time we've got a whole Covenant of alien forces pissed off. They think we are all demons and demons must be killed off till no one stands on his/her feet. But there is good old Master Chief, aka John117, the last surviving Spartan of the wiped-out planet Reach. In the marvellous beginning we see the Pillar of Autumn (what a stupid name for a ship, sorry!) arriving to a halo, but they cannot celebrate for long cuz guess who's knocking: yes, Covenant and they are not here for a beer or whatever. So they wake M C up from cryosleep and all HELL breaks loose...
The graphics are really awesome for a early XBOX game, and the controls of MC plays well! Easy switching, no hassle. Run out of ammo? Just steal some other gun. But sometimes I got the feeling: where to go now? what where to do? where is the exit? yes, in many areas of the game you can actually get LOST! And when I say LOST I MEAN LOST!!!!!!! The areas are huge in which you play in.
Here a tip of me: when you get the gun in the start of the game, try to kill Captain Keyes...
But back to business: the music is TOP NOTCH! (I mean it!)
The graphics are very cool and nicely done with loads of small effects, just keep your eyes peeled!!! But: the game is a bit short if you know how to play it.
But overall:
