Fitting a bigger hard drive in a hacked 360? HDDHackr is the tool that has long been the usual route. It writes the Xbox 360 security sector onto a supported Western Digital SATA drive, so an ordinary drive works in a Jtag / RGH console without buying an official Xbox 360 drive.
Download:
Download HDDHackr 1.40
This is build 20130303 of version 1.40, with its ReadMe and the author's recovery (undo) files for about 70 drive models. You'll need your own HDDSS.bin.
Connect only the drive you want to change. The tool writes to the drive, and a wrong choice can damage another disk.
The undo files have their own thread too: Hddhackr Undo Files Downloads & Uploads.

- Read ReadMe.txt first. The tool only runs under real MS-DOS, not in a Windows command prompt or on XP, Vista or 7, so boot from a DOS USB stick or CD and run HDDHACKR.EXE.
- It works only with the Western Digital series listed in the ReadMe (BEAS, BEVS, BEVT, BPVT, LPVT, BEKT, BJKT, BPKT, BUDT, HLFS and BLFS).
- If the drive isn't detected, check the SATA mode in the BIOS (RAID, AHCI or legacy IDE). The ReadMe names that, or the chipset, as the cause of nearly every problem.
- To undo a change on a supported drive, use the matching file from the Recovery Files folder.
