help with XBOX 360

1.Two months back my JTAG hard disk got corrupted . My Xbox asked for the update to play the Kinect games , I tried to update it from the xbox website but update got failed and displayed 6 hex digit numbers. I can play controller games but can not play kinect games. Please help .

2 Recently i borrowed a kinect from my friend( his system is original and not JTAG) and tried to use it on my system but still it was asking for update . Now when i returned the kinect to my friend ,his system is also asking for system update and kinect lights are continuously flashing . He is also receiving 6 group of hexadigit codes while updating the system.

How to correct both the above system? Please help?

1. You need to use the same system update as what the Xbox 360 is currently on to restore the avatar / kinect data, dont use a newer update as you can brick your Jtag. Find this out from system settings then download the update which matches from here: https://digiex.net/forums/dashboard-system-updates.62/

2. Connect to Xbox Live as this system is legit and update the console like that

thanks you so much for your help. Now my both system are working fine. Earlier i was able to save the games to my pen drive/hard disk with the help of xemenu program. Can i instal it myself on a new hard disk ?" Can u provide me some link to download that?

You put a new hard drive in the console, then use the ISO version of XEX Menu to load XEX Menu from a DVD: https://digiex.net/threads/xexmenu-...live-and-xex-file-manager-for-xbox-360.11096/

After that you can copy content to the new hard drive.
