I kinda messed up my Xbox 360. ideas to fix it?

I have a fairly recent white Xbox 360 and because I live in China I had it modded to play "local" games. I was playing Skyrim and it has a ton of bugs and glitches ( and YES! It is the greatest game ever!) I hooked up to Live and downloaded a new Dashboard and the Skyrim 1.4 patch.

However, once I started playing again I got an error message saying could not authorize the disk and the Xbox rebooted.

So I took the Xbox to the local game shop and he plugged it in and saw the new dashboard and said " Can not play copy game, only original...".

So seeing original disks don't seem to exist in China I can't seem to continue playing.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Is there a newer soft mod to update the dvd firmware so I can play?

Can I remove the newest dashboard and revert back to the old one which worked?

Ideas and or help please?

Otherwise I need buy a new Xbox and I am sure they is a more cost-effective solution.

Ok here's my Xbox problems. I had it flashed about 2 months ago and it worked well for all the latest games. I was playing Skyrim for about 6 weeks and the game is glitched so I logged onto Live to get the 1.4 patch. It updated my dashboard to the latest Dashboard and also updated Skyrim.

However... None of the disks work now. I am in China so the "local" Xbox disks cost about 80 cents each.

I took my Xbox to a shop here in China and the dude reflashed it but said since I have the latest dashboard the newer games won't work. They don't. I can play some older games but Skyrim, BF3, MW3, Space Marine don't work.

So one guy said I need get the LATEST Skyrim that has a 3.0 release but none of the gameshops have it and they say they can't flash my Box yet because they don't have the latest hack. I have a Fat Xbox about 3 years old.

The drive is a Liteon ( two yellow wires)

Of course I need to play Skyrim and I can't buy an original disk in China - only copies.

ANY IDEA what I can do here? Any way to totally restore my Xbox to original condition? I mean the way it was three years ago? Any way to roll back the Dashboard?

Also what's the best sites to download the iso files? My laptop has dual burning so I can try to write new disks and stealth patch them ( I can try anyways...).

Help please?

I have heard that you can rip the games off of an burned disc using imgburn then run it through abgx and then burn the game(use the .dvd file associated with the .iso file) to a dual layered dvd using imgburn @ speed 2.4

You will need an ihas 124 b drive flashed to the lt burnermax firmware to burn xgd3 games, such as Skyrim, BF3, MW3, Space Marine.This is required if you install games to the hard drive.

Rick, wanna know if I had downloaded a 0800 v3 full XGD3/XGD2 Rip, burnt it properly (with ihas burners) on the Dual Layer, ensured it passed 100% verification on Imageburn and also had the DL verified by abgx and all of a sudden lost the rip stored on the Hard disk, will I be able to make a true 1-1 backup copy (using xbc) of that rip?

I have heard you can use imgburn to rip burned games, not retail games ,use that option.
