Installing apps on 3ds after installing CFW.

How can I install apps such as the TWL save tool on the 3ds after I've installed CFW? I've seen people have CFW and TWL save tool already installed on their 3ds and I was wondering how they installed the TWL save tool
 
As part of installing CFW on the 3DS did you install FBI? FBI lets you install CIA's of homebrew apps, which then appear on the homescreen after been installed.

If so copy the TwlSaveTool CIA to the SD card on the 3DS, then install it with FBI. The end result will then be TwlSaveTool on your homescreen.
